Flowing with the flow

Posting after almost two months. Challenges are normal now and an intrinsic part of our life. So, without thinking too much, we are just flowing with the flow and enjoying the time to the fullest.

As usual, I am sharing a conversation between me and Akshat. An interesting conversation happened after a long time. The conversation completed in 10 days...

6-12-22

M. We went to Didi’s birthday party last Friday…Do you remember?

A. Yes.

M. How was it...I forget to ask you...

A. it was very uncomfortable to sit there.

M. Hmm…What was bothering you?

A. dance, singing horribly.

M. Hmm…Was there anyone singing? I don’t remember…

A. Yes… they were all singing.

M. Ohhk…So you don’t like it?

A. No

M. But they were simply enjoying their friend’s birthday and expressing their enjoyment through dancing and singing…

A. Ok…But I do not enjoy mingling with others.

M. Ohhk…Then how do you enjoy and celebrate?

A. I work seriously with my passion and that is my celebration and enjoyment.

M. Wow! That’s nice…But don’t you ever feel to go out, eat out, party to express your enjoyment or celebrate your success and achievements…

A. I wonder mingling so illogical thing.

M. Haha…Well…On 18th December we have another get-together…What about that?

A. I think kind of mood management.

M. Ahh…Deep..That’s how you will learn flexibility.

A. how will I do that.

M. Hmm...So, by nature, you do not like socialization…But at times, we have to meet people for some reasons…When you go in such get together and as you said ‘ try to manage your mood’, you are basically learning to cope up with the situation and developing mental flexibility…

A A. Yess…I think flexibility is very highly difficult thing to practice.

M. Umm…yes, agreed…but depends on what changes you want to bring in yourself…When you start making a conscious effort, things become little easier…

A. bringing better needs time.

M. Yes…true…Any change takes time, practice and conscious efforts.

A. doing conscious efforts give desired result.

M. Of course…we need to keep the belief alive…

A. hmm.
