Into the Sea

Hello Readers,

Season’s Greetings! Sorry, we are a bit late in wishing you that. This time, Akshat took a bit longer to complete his blog but he finally completed it. Hope you all enjoy reading it. Don’t forget to share your feedback.

Into the Sea

A giant ship in an endless ocean

Standing on the deck and feeling the cool breeze.

Unable to fathom the seabed that lies deep inside.

Mighty waves beneath the calm waters

Guiding to remain strong while holding calm

Sand under the feet makes you realize,

that nothing is permanent.

Into the Sea

Diwali vacation is essential for Gujaratis. They throng into various global and domestic destinations during this festive time. People in Gujarat are fond of holidaying.

Living in Gujarat for so long, I can also feel the same vibes, though traveling has always been a challenge for me, given my sensory challenges and mood swings.

However, I have worked through and managed these challenges over time, which has helped me think flexibly in real scenarios.

Oh! Let me get back to the story…

Therefore, this time we also went on a ‘Diwali vacation’. This trip was different as it involved a sea journey. I had never done a sea journey before and was quite nervous. The ship was so big that people carried their cars and bikes too. It had a big lounge with a restaurant. Many people were sitting there. Sitting in that lounge was difficult because of the crowd there but I managed. However, the sea was so magnificent that I could not think of anything else. Mamma brought me to the deck and it was thrilling. The deep sea was endless, and I felt mesmerized. It was nothing less than a wow moment. It was an experience I would like to take again.

After the sea journey, we travelled in a van to the hotel. The hotel was good. In the evening, we went to the beach. I was so excited to go into the sea. It was so thrilling. I wanted to walk freely over the sand but Ma and Daddy seemed worried. The waves were gigantic and ready to embrace us. The sand under the feet flowed away with the water giving a sense of hollowness and a thrilling sensory experience. People were enjoying water sports. The motorboat ride must have been fun but I found it so scary. Daddy and my cousin had a blast on this ride.

Apart from traveling tiredness, Alibagh was fun.
